Blaze put out on Russian ship in Caspian Sea

Ships and helicopters from Caspian oil companies helped extinguish a fire on board a Russian ship in the Caspian Sea on Friday, Trend aid, citing Azerbaijani officials.

An SOS from the Kaiakend ship, which is registered in the Dagestani capital of Makhachkala, was received at 2:00 a.m. Baku time. All the sailors were rescued.

The ship will be towed to Baku after the completion of salvage operations.
