Azerbaijan and Austria sign three deals
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAzerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Austrian President Heinz Fischer have signed three documents, Aliyev’s website says.
The presidents had a closed-door meeting in Baku. They noted positive trends in bilateral relations in all spheres. Further development of ties has good potential. The sides exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international affairs.
The University of Krems and the Azerbaijani Institute for Tourism signed a cooperation deal, SOCAR and OMV signed a memorandum on energy cooperation, while the Azerbaijani minister for communication and information technologies and Austrian minister for transport, innovations and information signed a cooperation deal on innovative technologies.
Fischer is on a two-day visit to Azerbaijan.
