Two militants shot dead in Chechnya

Two militants have been shot dead in Chechnya as "a result of special
search operation near the village of Goiti in the Urus-Martan region".
The militants opened fire at a squad car and were killed when the
officers returned fire, reports ITAR-TASS.
There were no casualties among the law-enforcement officers.
According to official information, both militants were members of an
illegal armed group headed by the late Chingishan Gishaev, the self
proclaimed emir of the Urus-Martan region, who was killed in January
of this year.
