Azerbaijan increases defense spending

Azerbaijan is increasing its defense spending, the APA news agency reports on Wednesday.

In 2012 $1.770 billion will be spend on the country's military, which is 1.2 per cent more than in 2011, the news agency informs. 

Next year the country will also spend about a billion dollars on its law-enforcement agencies, which is 20 per cent greater than this year.
