Iran to increase gas exports to Turkey, replacing Gazprom

Iran is ready to increase gas exports to Turkey after Botas cancelled a contract with Gazprom, Managing Director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Javad Oji said, Armenia Today reports.


Iran increased exports of gas to Turkey by 12% in March. The NIGC exported over 24 million cubic meters daily to Botas.


Oji noted that both sides are open for negotiations of the price, depending on the global prices for gas.
