Three servicemen die in Armenian army in last 5 days

21-year old Private Aram Ashotovich Melkonyan died at the Idzhevanskaya Military Base in the Tavushskaya District of Armenia. Melkonyan was a local from Yerevan, drafted in early 2011, Armenia Today reports.

David Karapetyan, spokesman of the Defense Ministry, confirmed the death without giving any details. Reasons for his death remain unclear.

It was the third death in the Armenian army in the last 5 days.
