Kadyrov makes speech for school leavers

students, the republic’s President Ramzan Kadyrov told the school
leavers about the professions in demand, RIA Novosti reports.
He said that the country has a surplus of lawyers and economists, the
country needs teachers, doctors, tractor drivers, construction and
housing and community specialists. He noted the importance of humanism,
patriotism and honesty.
He awarded the republic’s highest reward – Order of Ahmat Kadyrov to a
school teacher for high professionalism. Only 4 teachers have been
awarded such order.
“The Farewell Bell sounded in 437 schools of the republic for 10.5
thousand school leavers of the 11th grade and 20 thousand 10th-graders”,
Chechen Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ramzan Ozdarbiyev said.
The students have a serious challenge ahead – the Unified State
Examination (USE), held from 27th May to 20th June.
“The examination will be held in two stages. The first examination wave
will have 12 thousand people, school leavers of 2010, and the school
leavers from the previous years, from vocation schools. The second stage
is under preparation. The first Unified State Examination of students
will start on May 27th, the last examination will be held on June 20th”,
Ozdarbiyev said.
Handicapped students can choose between the USE and the traditional form of examination. Students that get the top marks in USE will receive
presidential stimulation.
“After the exams the students will get a grand present from the
republic’s authorities – the unforgettable prom with Russian star
performers”, Ozdarbiyev noted.
