Speaker of Iranian parliament to participate in Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly

The Iranian Parliamentary Speaker, Ali Larijani, will head the political
delegation of Iran in Bern (Switzerland), which is taking part in the 125th
session of the Assembly of the IPU, Iran News reports.

Larijani is expected to discuss a number of issues with his
counterparts from other countries. After completion of the session, Ali
Larijani will visit Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Participants in the 125th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU)
will discuss a wide range of topics on the international agenda - from
nuclear disarmament to the latest events in the Middle East and North
Africa.

The forum, which opened on Sunday in Bern and will last until Wednesday,
will bring together 1,200 delegates from 130 countries, ITAR-TASS reports.
