Turkish president promises revenge for 'terrorist' attack

Revenge for today’s attack by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party on Turkish servicemen will be harsh, Turkish President Abdullah Gul said, Trend reports.


The Kurdistan Workers’ Party attacked the Turkish military at the Khakkari Province this morning, killing 24 and injuring 18 servicemen.


Turkey has recently activated efforts to fight the militants. Turkish air forces are raiding Kurdish separatists in northern Iraq. They started on August 17, after the killings of 9 Turkish servicemen.
