Iran files protest note to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Javankhir Akhundov was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry on October 21 where he received a protest note over the incident on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border that saw the murder of an Iranian border guard,1news.az reports.

The protest note says Azerbaijan violated international law. Iran demands its punishment.
