Commanders of Azerbaijani and Iranian border guards to meet at death spot of Iranian soldier

Azerbaijani and Iranian border guard authorities will meet at the border where an Iranian guard was killed on October 19, Commander of Iranian Border Police Colonel Seid Mudzhtab Musevi said in the Ardebil Province, Trend reports.

The decision to meet was made at Parsabad on Thursday.

The incident happened at the Firuzabad Village. An 18-year old border guard from Horremabad was killed when accidently crossing the border.

A violation of the border was registered near the Aranly Village of Bilyasuvarsky District on October 19. A camouflaged violator was sighted 1200 meters from the border. He attacked border guards.
