Gaddafi’s son fails to escape to Niger

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of Libya's former leader Moamer Gaddafi, who survived in the rebels' attack on Sirte yesterday, has made a futile attempt to escape to Niger, Trend  cites the Al Jazeera TV channel.

Muammar Gaddafi was killed on Thursday in the Libyan town of Sirte.
