Russia is ready to provide investors with protection of their rights by authorities

A key element of the standard of business support in the Russian regions, developed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), should be guarantees of investors' rights by the authorities, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at the first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the ASI.

The standard will be developed by the ASI together with "Business Russia". Putin also said that the technology of its implementation will be worked out in six "pilot" regions - the Kaluga, Lipetsk, Sverdlovsk, Ulyanovsk and Perm regions and Tatarstan. If the practice proves to be successful it will be expanded into other regions.
