IAEA to work on new projects with Azerbaijan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has approved five new projects of Azerbaijan, Trend cites Adil Garibov, Director of the Institute for Radioactive Problems of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, as saying.
The projects will be in force in 2012-2014. The projects were developed by the Institute for Radioactive Problems, the National Oncological Center, the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents, the Ministry for Emergencies and the Isotope Center of the Emergencies Ministry. One of the projects involves construction of a dosemetric laboratory for sterilization.
The IAEA representative to Azerbaijan is on a visit to the state to monitor fulfilment of joint projects.
