Russian base in Armenia starts command training
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe 102nd Russian military base, located in Armenia (part of the Southern Military District), is starting scheduled training of the command staff, News Armenia reports.
Groups were on alert status and headed to the Alagyaz training complex.
Commanders were summoned to the spot. They will train in command skills, organization and maintenance of interaction between armed formations.
Russian and Armenian battalions will hold joint target practice with over 500 servicemen involved. At least 150 units of equipment from the 102nd base will be mobilized.
