Russian Federal Tourism Agency to improve Russian Black Sea resorts

The head of the Russian Federal Tourism Agency, Alexander Radkov, said in Gelenjik today that the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization needs to put effort into marketing to form the Black Sea Brand.

Radkov proposed stimulation of tourism exchange. Many Russian tourists visit Turkey. Over 3 million Russians visit Turkey, over 8 million Turks visit other states as tourists.

The official wants promotion of Russian resorts in Turkey and at an exhibition in Istanbul. This requires provoking interest by providing information and forming a positive image of Russia.
