Blast at Iran’s Bibi Khakimekh Oil Field

A blast happened near a drilling platform of the Bibi Khakimekh Oil Field in southern Iran. One man died and three were injured, Associated Press reports.

The field has been operating since 1962. It gives 120,000 barrels of oil daily. Gas at the field exploded.

Another blast happened at a refinery in the Arak City south-west of Tehran. No one was injured.
