Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgia believes that Russia should be satisfied with the Swiss proposal concerning Russia entering the WTO, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze said.
The Russian presidential aide, Arkady Dvorkovich, said that Russia may join the World Trade Organization by the end of the year.
At the same time, senior staff scientist of the Russian State Institute for Foreign Affairs Leonid Gusyev says Russia may still face some problems while entering the WTO.
"We have been trying to join the WTO for 18 years and there were a lot of moments when we were very close to a final decision. Still we are not a member of the organization," Gusyev says.
