Armenian President congratulates Turkish counterpart on National Day

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Turkish President Abdullah Gul on the occasion of Turkey’s national holiday: Republic Day, News.am cites the presidential press office as saying. 

Turkey’s Republic Day is celebrated on October 29, but, because of the devastating earthquake that hit the province of Van on October 23, large-scale celebrations were not held.
