Armenian business council to simplify procedures for organization of business and export/import of products
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Council for Development of Small and Medium-sized Business of Armenia discussed simplification of procedures for import and export of products and organization of business, Gagik Pogosyan, coordinator of the public organization “Network for Protection of Business Interests", told journalists on Wednesday, ARKA reports.
This concerns protection of interests of manufacturers whose products are more expensive than imported analogues. This is not protectionism but the formation of equal conditions for national manufacturers and importers.
Another problem is change of requirements for changing the profile of territories in their rent, such as offices. The State Registry of Real Estate demands a change of profile for territories, which is a costly process. The council proposed the profile of territories not to be changed if they are rented as offices.
The Armenian prime minister ordered the secretariate to take requests into account. A governmental decision will be presented at the next session of the council. The issues may be resolved without legislative adjustments.
