Dagestan may pass law on parliamentary investigations

Dagestani President Magomedsalam Magomedov has proposed a regional law on parliamentary investigations, RIA Novosti reports.

Events that stir up the public, conflicts, money-wasting, corruption will be investigated by deputies.

Magomedov says that such investigations need involvement of institutions of the civil society. This includes a contract with the Public Chamber of Dagestan as the leading institution of the kind.
