EU ambassadors visit Azerbaijani frontline

Ambassadors of EU countries in Azerbaijan and representatives of the embassies have visited the front-line zone in Azerbaijan. The trip was initiated by the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Representatives of diplomatic missions of the United Kingdom, Latvia, Germany, France, Lithuania, Greece, Norway and other countries visited Fizuli on October 31 and November 1.

The diplomats met with district authorities, local communities, internally displaced persons, NGOs and private entrepreneurs familiar with the situation in the front area.

As a result of their visit, he EU Ambassadors to Azerbaijan issued a formal statement which reads that they felt the constraints and limitations faced by people living near the front-line.
