Dubai to invest in Georgia

Georgian Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development Vera Kobalia says Dubai wants to invest in Georgia. The minister made the statement at the Tbilisi Mariott Hotel, where a conference on Fly Dubai Air Company was held, Business Georgia reports.


Tbilisi and Dubai will have direct air connection to improve bilateral ties. Tourism flow to Georgia from Dubai will increase.


The Dubai Company will be an authorized distributor of Fly Dubai. The head of the Dubai Company, Marie Chirinashvili, says an additional passenger service will open. Flights from Georgia to the United Arab Emirates and the Middle Asia will be cheaper.


Regular flights will start on November 5 on Tuesdays and Saturdays. A ticket price in both directions will cost $270.
