Russia to possess 30% of advanced military equipment by 2015

30% of Russian military equipment will be of an advanced quality by 2015. The figure is expected to reach 70% by 2020. Strategic Missile Forces will have 100% of advanced equipment models, head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Naryshkin said on a visit to a range under Luga in the Leningrad Region, where he had observed the Iskander missile complex, ITAR-TASS reports.

The official added that servicemen will undergo special training.

Russian representative to NATO Dmitry Rogozin was also at the range.
