Consortium expects clear obligations on gas supplies from Azerbaijan – Nabucco

The Nabucco pipeline will not be opened until Azerbaijan makes clear decisions on obligations to fill it with gas, Nabucco press secretary Christian Dolezal said, APA reports.

The Shah Deniz Consortium received proposals and a decision is expected. After reception of guarantees from theShah Deniz Consortium the process may start.

EU Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger has recently said that the credit recession in Europe is a bad signal for Nabucco. Chances to finance and launch Nabucco still exist.
