Moscow set to host Wrestling Cup of European Nations

Moscow will host the Wrestling Cup of European Nations entitled "Moscow Stars" at the Druzhba Universal Sports Hall on November 12-13. The national team of Dagestan will be represented by Magomedmurad Hajiyev (66 kg), Nariman Israpilov (55 kg) and Arslanbek Aliyev (96 kg). Rasul Murtazaliyev will be the second in the 60 kg category, RIA Dagestan reports.

Abdulsalam Gadisov (96 kg) will not attent due to his injury at the Yarygan-2010 games.

The Moscow government, Chairman of Moskomsport Alexey Vorobyov and the Russian Ministry for Sports and Tourism support the competition. The KERIMOV FOUNDATION Chairman Suleiman Kerimov is a general partner of the games.

Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Belarus will send their teams to participate in Greco-Roman wrestling. Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Belarus and Bulgaria will be involved in free wrestling. President of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA), Raphaël Martinetti, will open the cup.
