US, Russia and China do not want Iran to obtain nuclear arms – Obama

The USA, China and Russia do not want Iran to obtain nuclear arms. The states need to consult on the best way to prevent it. The preferable solution is diplomatic negotiations, US President Barack Obama said at a press conference after the summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Honolulu, ITAR-TASS reports.

The situation in Iran affects Azerbaijan and the whole Caucasus region. Rasim Musabekov, an Azerbaijani MP and political analyst, told Vestnik Kavkaza that Azerbaijani communications run through Iran, including all freighting from the Persian Gulf. This also includes communications with Nakhchivan. Millions of Azerbaijanis living in Iran will be affected.
