Germany needs to support Georgia in NATO integration – Nika Gilauri

Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri has discussed liberalization of the visa regime and simplification of refugee movement on Georgia’s separatist territories with German Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friendrich, Trend reports.


Gilauri informed the German minister with law-enforcement reforms in Georgia. The Georgian PM said that Germany needs to support Georgian integration in NATO and international organizations. Gilauri reminded that Georgia used to be split apart some 20 years ago but managed to unite.


Gilauri met German Vice-Chancellor Philipp Rosler. They discussed improvement of ties and realization of reforms. Gilauri attended a lunch of the German Christian Democratic Party and told about reforms realized in 2003-2011.
