Armenia’s rights ombudsman to visit regions

Armenia’s Human Right Defender, Karen Andreasyan, will visit six regions in the country.  

These visits will be assisted by the European Union Advisory Group (EUAG), News.am cites the ombudsman's press service as saying.

Also, the ombudsman plans to establish regional offices in the coming year, and these visits will be a preparation phase for this.   

Likewise along the lines of the ombudsman’s visit, roundtable discussions will be convened with representatives of non-governmental organizations and local authorities.
