Azerbaijani parliament starts talks on 2012 state budget

The Azerbaijani Parliament has started talks on the state budget project for 2012. Speaker of Parliament Ogtay Asadov said that the project was developed taking into account economic conditions in the first 9 months of 2011 and forecasts of the GDP for the year, ABC.AZ reports.


57% of the GDP is expected to be formed by the non-oil sector of economy. Investments will reach 14 billion manats, an increase by 10%, compared with 2011. Interior investments will exceed 70%. An average wage will reach 432 manats (+11.6%). The project takes the global market and experience of world states into account. The budget for 2012 is social and stresses on investments.
