Baku hosts talks on energy, ecological and food security within OIC

The Executive Committee for Science-Technical Cooperation (COMSTECH) of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) is hosting talks on coordination and cooperation in energy, ecological and food security, Azerbaijani Minister for Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said today, Trend reports.

29 COMSTECH sessions will open in Baku today. A program of the COMSTECH was developed for the next decade.

COMSTECH states achieved success in science and technology. Some of the most topical issues are energy and food problems. Another problem is realization of biotechnology programs.

The 27th session of the COMSTECH elected Azerbaijan as the coordinator of the alternative energy sphere, due to its achievements in the last year.
