Baku State University and Ministry for Higher Education of Jordan to sign cooperation memorandum

The head of Baku State University, Academician Abel Magerramov, has received the General Secretary of the Ministry for Higher Education and Science Research of Jordan, PhD in Political Science, Mustafa Al-Advan, 1news.az reports.

Magerramov noted that the university is operating with 37 foreign programs and grants. He noted preparations for the 100th anniversary of Baku State University with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arriving.

Mustafa Al-Advan noted that he had arrived to study Azerbaijani higher education and expressed willingness for cooperation in nanotechnologies.

The sides agreed to prepare and sign a memorandum for studies, exchange of students and teachers and realization of joint projects and programs. Guests observed the nanotechnology laboratory and science centers of Baku State University.

Adil Muhammad Adayla, Ambassador of Jordan to Azerbaijan, was at the meeting.
