Gelendzhik airport starts operating

Gelendzhik airport was opened on May 29th, RIA Novosti reports. The opening has been delayed several times.

Reconstruction of the airport started in 2005, with federal investments of 2.86 billion rubles. The airport will be able to accept 500 thousand passengers every year.
