Ingushetia bans alcohol sales on Thursdays and Fridays

The Ingush Parliament has passed a bill on banning alcohol sales on Thursdays and Fridays. The bill was voted for unanimously in the first reading. Other days allow sales of alcohol from 10.00 to 22.00, Interfax reports.

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was at the parliamentary vote. He supported the bill and noted the need for punishment of violators. Yevkurov added that the new law does not violate the Russian Constitution.
