Blast at bitumen factory in Armenia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA blast occured at the 'Arbit' bitumen factory in the village of Surenavan in the Araratskaya Region of Armenia this morning, News Armenia reports.
A container with a capacity of 200 tons of fuel oil exploded. A fire-fighting group arrived. The fire was put out in a few minutes. The top part of the container was damaged, two tons of tar was burned.
The Armenian-Russian factory Arbit was opened in May 2009.
