Azerbaijani president congratulates Putin on poll victory

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has given Russian Prime Minister a phone call today. Aliyev congratulated Putin on his party - United Russia - winning the parliamentary polls.

The sides expressed satisfaction with cooperation between their ruling parties Yeni Azerbaijan and United Russia. They also underlined the  development of ties between the two states and expressed confidence that the ties will continue expanding.
