United Russia members of Adygeya to support Medvedev’s candidate to head republic
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaMedvedev will introduce a candidate to become head of Adygeya. Ramazan Afashagov, head of the regional executive committee of the United Russia Party in Adygeya, said that they plan to support the candidate, Yuga.ru reports.
There will be 10 days to choose as soon as three candidates are presented. Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier that Murat Kumpilov, Prime Minister of Adygeya, Aslancheria Tkhacushinov, acting leader of Adygeya, and Vyacheslav Shverikas, a member of the Russian Federation Council, were proposed to Medvedev as candidates on December 1.
A representative to the parliament of the 6th calling will be announced soon. The issue is to be resolved no sooner than on December 10. Adygeya gave the United Russia 61% or 136,000 of votes. Adygeya Prime Minister Murat Kumpilov, Healthcare Minister Raziyet Natkho and Chairman of the local State Council Irina Shirina are three candidates for the Russian parliament.
