Azerbaijani inflation will not exceed 10% in a year

The Azerbaijani State Committee for Statistics does not expect the inflation level to exceed 10% in 2011. Chairman of the committee Arif Veliyev said that consumer prices are expected to increase by 8% by the end of 2011, 1news.az reports.

Inflation in Azerbaijan was at 5.7% in 2010.

Veliyev said that GDP production by the end of 2011 will reach 50 billion manats, an increase of 0.1-0.2% compared with 2010.
