Turkey to boycott European Council's meetings

The co-chair of the EU-Turkey Joint Palrmiamentray Committe, Afif Demirkiran, said on Wednesday that Turkey would not attend European Council's meeting chaired by Greek Cyprus, the Anadolu news agency reports.

"We will freeze our relations with the council," Dimirkira told reporters.

"The Cyprus problem has seriously blocked the EU-Turkey relations," he added.
