Zaur Khizriyev appointed as Grozny Mayor

The United Russia Party has introduced Zaur Khizriyev as Grozny Mayor, the party’s official website says.

Khizriyev was presented to the Regional Political Council of the Chechen Regional Office of the United Russia Party within the framework of the Presidium of the General Council of the party.

Khizriyev has been Deputy Mayor of Grozny. He was elected as a member of the Grozny City Council.
