Vladimir Putin starts live Q&A show

Traditionally, the prime minister will answer questions from Russian citizens. Questions may be asked via text messages, and the official website of the show. A single information center processes questions. It started work at midnight on December 13 and will continue until the show ends. Tens of thousands of questions have been asked already.
Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that only 9% of Russians plan to ask questions. 5% of them are concerned with the interior policy, 4% - with liberty, mir96 reports.
The most popular topic is social problems - 29% of questions. 14% are interested in housing and utilities, 8.5% - with labour. The most active citizens are pensioners (over 53%) and middle-aged people 36-55 (28.6%).
Putin held the first such show on December 24, 2001, which lasted 2 hours 20 minutes. The longest show was held in 2010, it lasted 4 hours 25 minutes and became the tenth.
