Baku to have high-traffic Internet connection for Eurovision Song Contest 2012

The Azerbaijani Ministry for Communication and Information Technologies continues preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, 1news.az reports.

4,000 people will have Interconnection at 1 Mb/s. 3,000 will have Wi-Fi access, 1,000 – stationary computers. All trading centers will have Internet access points. Wi-Fi will have a traffic of 8 Mb/s.

Azerbaijan won the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with performance of Eldar Qasimov and Nigar Camal (Ell&Nikki) in Dusseldorf (Germany) with their song “Running Scared”.
