Small enterprises with a turnover of less than 30.000 lari will be
freed from taxation. This is provided for new amendments to the
Internal Revenue Code, Novosti Georgia reports.
As announced by Tbilisi mayor Gigi Ugulava, the government decided to
introduce a differentiated tax system, which aims to favor the
establishment of long-term small enterprises. Enterprises with an
annual turnover of less than 200.000 lari will pay only general sales
tax.
