Yuri Krasnozhan in Anzhi – in what role?

The former vice president of Anzhi Zajdin Dzhambulatov confirmed that the head coach of the second national team of Russia, Yuri Krasnozhan, will be a sporting director of Anzhi. “I cannot say who informed me about it,” Dzhambulatov said. “In Anzhi they don’t know either where I have learnt about it. Yes, there is no Krasnozhan’s appointment for the position of a sporting director: technical moments are being solved.”

Yuri Krasnozhan has a vacation in Italy at the moment. He doesn’t comment on the situation. Officially this information should be confirmed in the nearest future. Sovtsky Sport reports that recently Krasnozhan has met Suleyman Kerimov. Moreover, according to the newspaper, Krasnozhan will be the head coach of Makhachkala’s club. Yuri Krasnozhan has many times said that he would like to have more active professional life. Coach activity is priority for him. It is interesting that after the match with Anzhi Krasnozhan lost Lokomotive’s head coach position.

Yuri Krasnozhan is one of most prominent coaches in recent years. Olga Smorodskays, Lokomotive’s president, had to state that she has no claims to the Makhachkala’s club.
