Thee militants killed in Karachay-Cherkessia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaPolice have killed two militants and their leader in Karachay-Cherkessia, ITAR-TASS reports.
The militants were identified as Islam Uzdenov, a militant leader born in 1991, Murat Batchayev, 1990, and Ruslan Kaitov, 1982. They had 3 AKs with a large quantity of ammo. They are suspected in attacking police officers at the Mirny Village of Stavropol Territory on September 1 and the Uchkeken Village of Karachay-Cherkessia on October 28.
A counter-terrorism operation was held in the Uchkeken Village of the Malokarachayevsky District on December 19-20. Three militants, the so-called group of Uzdenov, were blocked in a five-storey building on the Sovetskaya Street. The operation started at 7 pm. The counter-terrorism regime was lifted 3 hours later. There were no civilian or police injuries.
