Kazakh president wants new decision-making mechanisms in CSTO

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev believes that the CSTO needs new mechanisms for decision-making, News Kazakhstan reports.

Nazarbayev says that formation of collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO needs to speed up and operate according to UN mandate in world regions. The CSTO also needs to improve analytical activities in studying military-political aspects and strategic planning. Defense structures of CSTO members need re-equipping, development of science and construction.
