Azerbaijan launches social project for disabled

Azerbaijan has initiated a social project entitled “Life Without Obstacles” to adapt disabled people, especially people with poor hearing. A special website was opened with advice about communication, purchases of earphones and modern treatment.

The project has no commercial basis and is a charitable action to help tens of thousands of disabled people all over the world. Modern ear devices compensate poor hearing to a certain extent. But there are still hopeless cases.

The organizers of the project said that they would support people with bad hearing in education and labour, hold free training and educational meetings, provide literature, psychological aid and medical consultations. Such projects are planned to be launched in other post-Soviet states.
