Azerbaijan does not rule out measures for criminalization of misrecognition of Armenian Genocide

Baku has called the passing of the law on the  so-called Armenian Genocide by the French parliament unjust, Trend reports.

The decision affects France’s image as a democratic state and society. Such a bill shows that France has restrictions on freedom of thought and opinion, Nowruz Mamedov, head of the section for foreign links of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, said.

The bill will obviously influence France’s relations with Azerbaijan. Measures will be taken if the other chamber of parliament passes the bill.
