Heydar Aliyev Fund and Azerbaijani Public Television to cooperate in hosting Eurovision Song Contest 2012

The Heydar Aliyev Fund and the Public TV Broadcasting Company (ITV) have signed a cooperation memorandum to organise the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Trend reports.

The Heydar Aliyev Fund has been assisting in hosting the contest from the very start. The Eurovision Song Contest is a significant event, allowing Azerbaijan to show its rich culture and historic heritage. The Heydar Aliyev Fund will play an important role in organising and promoting the event.

The memorandum involves inviting specialists to organize cultural events, preparations for the contest, support in hosting the song contest and realizing social programs such as the Eurovillage and Euroclub.
