SOCAR relaunches two Gunsehli boreholes

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) has relaunched two boreholes after major renovations in the shallow waters of Guneshli, 1news.azreports.

Renovations were held at borehole N142 of the stationary platform N8 and borehole N61 of the stationary platform N10. Borehole N142 gives 65 tons of oil daily, N61 gives 10 tons of oil and 110,000 cubic meters of gas.

Development has been held in Guneshli since 1980. It provides 65% of all SOCAR oil.
